GET INVOLVED
Madison County Special Olympics offers many ways to get involved. An individual may become involved as an athlete, Unified partner, coach or volunteer

Athlete Eligibility
Athletes must be at least 8 years of age and identified by an agency or professional as having one of the following conditions: intellectual disability, cognitive delays as measured by formal assessment or significant learning or vocational problems due to cognitive delay that require or have required special instruction.

Volunteer Work
Madison County Special Olympics is about transforming lives, including your own. It’s about a spirit of giving and teamwork. It’s about making new friends and building lifelong relationships. It’s also about making your community a more welcoming and accepting place for people of all abilities.
 
Madison County Special Olympics is always looking for inspiring individuals who take pride in their community. Individuals who truly want to make a difference in their community and the lives of others.

Volunteer opportunities include; coaching, assistant coaching, playing as a Unified partner, team manager, game official, tracking game stats, photographing events, chaperone events, concession, team driver, score board operator and assist with local events.
